How To Make Money on Redgage

Submitting Content: You earn money online from Redgage every time someone views your content. That means every time someone just goes to your content you will make money. As of now, it is about a $1.00 every 1,000 page views. Which is good. Some people on the internet are able to earn 1,000 page views a day and even more. The type of things you can submit to Redgage are links, blogs, writings, pictures and videos. If you write on other sites you can bookmark your articles on Redgage. It will earn you more page views, give you a backlink and make extra money online from using Redgage.
Make your Content Popular: Now that you have it posted you should try to get visitors to check it out. You can post your links on social marketing sites like Twitter, StumbleUpon, Facebook or Digg. Also, make sure you have good tags on your Redgage content so it will be easier to be searched for. If you have a site, post your profile link on it and just have people visit it from there. The key to getting more page views (and essentially more money on redgage) is by promoting your work.
Do the Daily Contest: Another way to earn quite a bit of money online is through the Daily Contest that Redgage does. Never have I been apart of a website to gives away so much money every day. They will offer you $25.00 if you are the winner. They do this contest every day and each day someone has successfully one. How this website finds the money is behind me, but people have been winning and earning money online through the contest. As of now, you have to get raffle tickets in order to win the contest. The person with the most raffle tickets at the end of the day wins the money. This is how many tickets you get for each task you do (taken from Redgage site):
You can raffle tickets for doing any of the following:
- 2 raffle tickets for Submitting Knowledge Based Content1 to RedGage
- 10 raffle tickets for Mentioning RedGage2 on other websites
- 20 raffle tickets for Inviting a new user3 to RedGage
Knowledge Based Content are Blog, Document or Video Posts that add knowlege to Redgage. Anything from a How-To article to a Review is accepted. As long as it teaches or informs the reader you will earn the points. For a better understanding, I took this from the Redgage Site aswell:
1Knowledge Based Content is any content (blogs, videos, or documents) that teach, inform, or add knowledge to the RedGage Community. Knowledge Based Content must be considered informational. Examples of knowledge based content are How Tos, Reviews, Articles, etc.
2A mention is when you reference RedGage on another website and you include a link back to any page on RedGage. To get credit for a mention, you must fill out and submit this form. The submission will be evaluated by the RedGage team, only after the submission has been reviewed and approved will points be awarded. Any reference to RedGage that is negative will not qualify as a valid mention. You may only receive credit for a maximum of 3 mentions per domain each day. Any mention written by someone else is not a valid submission. Each submission must be new and unique.
3Invited users must be active in order for the raffle tickets to be valid. Invites may be deemed invalid at the discretion of the RedGage Staff.
Featured Bonuses: If your content is featured on the front pages of Redgage you can earn a bonus of anywhere from $2.00 to $8.00. There is no real technique of how to earn a bonus yet. The staff basically browses through Redgage and picks whatever content they think is suitable. So in that, anything you post on Redgage has the potential to earn you a Bonus, which means bonus money.
Other Ways To Earn: You can still make money online by using Redgage even if not directly from the site. If you are an affiliate marketer you can post a few affiliate links on Redgage. Maybe you can sign-up to be an Amazon Associate, ClickBank member or an Ebay Affiliate. And even if no one makes a purchase on it, you can still earn money by using Redgage. So either way, you have the opportunity to make money online.

Sorry About the 2 month Hiatus

So I really haven't had time to write a lot but I have been editing and bookmarking my articles online. Most of the sites that I have been doing this are at Ehow, Xomba, and Redgage and Bukisa. I have been bookmarking these articles on Xomba and Redgage while I edited my articles on Xomba, Bukisa and Ehow. Ehow has been kind of a burden because they deleted over a hundred of my articles. However, I didn't lose a lot of earnings income from the clean up (or at least as much as I thought I would).
Editing wise, I have been trying to configure my keywords more and adding related articles at the bottom. I noticed that many of the successful earners from the writing sites place related content at the bottom of there articles. Therefore, I decided that I should do the same with my content. There are some great points in placing related content in your articles; you get a backlink for the articles and it keeps visitors on the site reading your content. The more people staying on your content the higher your earnings will be.
I still have quite a bit of articles to edit and bookmark which is why it might take me a while until I write more articles. I really want to fix all of my articles already online before I continue writing on the sites. Many successful writes say that editing is a vital part in making money online. I have a great deal of articles online that haven't earned me anything as of yet, but since I have been editing and bookmarking them they seem to have gone up a bit. If you haven't editing your articles online you really should give that a try.

My Online Article Earning Goals

Bukisa: It's a fairly new site that I joined a few months back. I am starting to see an increase in earnings but nothing that really has me jumping for joy. My overall goal that I want to achieve by the end of September would be to earn 1,000 page views a day. As of now, it's hard to get over 100 page views. However, with my new experiment on how to earn more money online with article writing I can know I can start really seeing those earnings grow. I've seen many Bukisa articles (including mine) reach the front page of many search engines. So the site is very popular and capable of earning me money online.
Bukisa Goal: 1,000 page views a day by October 1, 2009
Xomba: I am really enjoying my earnings from Xomba. I have only been a member and an avid writer for about a month and have already earned over 20 dollars. So I know I can reach my goals of earning 5 dollars a day by the end of September. I am already earning a few cents every day and with my experiment of increase my categories I know I can earn a lot more. I will be writing mostly Xombytes and linking a few articles from my eHow and Bukisa site to help with backlinks and increase search engine rankings.
Xomba Goal: 5 dollars a day by October 1, 2009
Infobarrel: I very nice site that I just started posting articles on. I have actually seen quite a few of my articles end up on the first page of search engines which is great. I am still getting a hang of what Infobarrel accepts for articles so I need to get more use to the site. However, my page views are really great on the site and I have just read a lot of positive feedback with it. I know I can earn about 5 dollars a day using Infobarrel but it may take a bit longer due to the site being fairly new. I have been writing mostly blank articles but I think I will start writing how-to articles. They have better ad placement with how-to articles and I can definitely increase the amount of clicks with it.
Infobarrel Goal: 5 dollars a day by November 1, 2009
eHow: eHow is the first site I started publishing articles on. It is really a great site that has everything a first time writer online needs. With a great forum section full of members that are willing to help you make money online with eHow you can't go wrong. I am already earning over a hundred dollars a month with eHow which is fine. But I know I can earn over 1,000 dollars with all of the success stories I hear from other members. I don't plan on making that any time soon but I know I want to make about 10 dollars a day this year. I plan on expanding the categories I write about on the site and tweak a few articles as well. This will really help me achieve my goals on eHow.
eHow Goals: 10 dollars a day by December 1, 2009
I have my fingers crossed on this. I'll let you know and keep you updated on my progress with my earnings. Hope You enjoyed the post.

Monthly Income Report: July 2009

What I Did in June
If you visited my blog on weebly you may have noticed that I switched to blogger. I thought this was a better place for me because it offers so much more options, templates and it ranks so much higher in search engine traffic. What sucks is that I may have to change all of my urls from my old site in articles to the new one. As for now, I just posted a link to my old site to the new one here. I think once I plan on getting a domain name I can really start seeing my business grow.
This month I have been focusing on spreading my writing across several sites on the web. I had to take a break with my eHow articles to focus on my other sites. I was really focusing mainly on Xomba and Bukisa. Also, towards the end of the month I joined Infobarrel and started writing articles for them as well. They had a contest at Infobarrel that could earn you 90% adsense revenue if you earned over 30 points. I earned above 50 points but I still never got an email informing me of my prize. I'll keep you updated if I do.
I also started looking into affiliate marketing for another stream of income. I heard it was a great source of passive income for online earners. I have been looking into ClickBank and Commission Junction mostly. I'm not sure which one I want to try though. There are no penalties for using both on my site though. But the main difference I hear with ClickBank and Commission Junction is in the products they sale. ClickBank sales a lot more eBooks and paid Memberships which can earn me a good amount of commission from that. However, I hear they don't give me a banner and just a simple link or "hopper." Commission Junction, on the other hand, sales actual commercial products that must be mailed to customers. I hear they offer a lot more products to promote and because the products are from places like eBay it may be easier to sell. Also, they give you banners which you could post a several places.
But before I get into all of that here is my Earnings Report for July the brackets indicate the increase or decrease in earnings for the last month:
Earnings Report for July
eHow: $115.71 ($28.47 increase)
Bukisa: $6.16 ($2.53 decrease)
Adsense (Xomba and Infobarrel): $22.65 ($20.88 increase)
Bidvertiser: $0 ($0 increase)
CashCrate: $3.81($3.11 increase)
TreasureTrooper: $5.33 ($2.38 increase)
GetPaidTo: $0.25 ($0.75 decrease)
CashLagoon: $0.25
Total: $154.16 ($50.16 increase)
Still not much but I increase my earnings by $50 extra bucks this month.
What I Learned
I finally found a few places where I could work comfortably and efficiently online. Working in a place that has little to no noise helped me concentrate on my goals online. Also, I will no longer try to study with headphones in my ear. I never discovered how much more difficult it is to concentrate with even classical music playing in the background. I was so glad when my headphones broke one day because I would not have discovered this. I work so much faster and better with no noise coming in.
I also learned a bit more about keywords and how important they are in getting on the front page of search engines. You can't have too little or too many keywords in your writing or you will not rank well. Too many and search engines may think you are a spam site while too little will cause your pages to end up on page 20 of search engines.

I also learned that it might be better to focus on less to earn more. This month I was trying to get referrals for so many different sites that it really spread me thin. It would be so much better for my business if I got referrals for maybe 4 sites rather than trying to get them to 12. That is why I may not be advertising a lot of my GPT sites this month. The only ones I may focus on getting referrals from are CashCrate and TreasureTrooper. I may add one other GPT site that pays daily if the other 2 really start earning some income from referrals.
Also, I am completely done with Bidvertiser. I haven't gotten one click from them and the ads that they show on my blog are just terrible. Most of them never match the topics on my blog so I would rather not even have it on my blog.
Goals for This Month (August)
This month I will still keep writing more articles on Xomba and Infobarrel. I was very impress with the amount I earned from Google Adsense for my first month. That is a lot more than what I have been earning from eHow my first month. It kind of makes me wonder what eHow is really doing in terms of paying there writers. It makes me think that they are holding out on a lot of hard working eHow writers.
Also, I am going to only work on CashCrate and TreasureTrooper for surveys this month. It will help me focus on just earning a good amount of income with them and not spread myself thin with GPT sites.
I think I may join an affiliate marketing program this month as well and see how that goes. I may join both ClickBank and Commission Junction as soon as I get a bit more research on them.
I have to head back to school at the end of August so I expect my earnings my fluctuate due to me getting ready to head back. I have a lot of supplies I have to get and just getting ready for school again. I plan on working online as I go to school but it may not be as much as I have been doing since the summer. So instead of doing about 8-10 articles a day I may have to reduce it to 4-5 articles on the weekdays and maybe 8 articles on the weekends. But hey, I may not do any articles on the weekends. It's college I'm going to! Therefore, I'll probably be doing what every clique college kid does on weekends ;).
Hope you enjoyed me Earnings report for July. Hope I can increase my profits by double the amount I earned this month. Fingers crossed!

Monthly Income Report: June 2009

This month I have been focusing a lot on Ehow and getting more articles on there. I have read so many successful stories that I wanted to maximize my articles and have proper SEO on each. I have been apart of Ehow since January but really did not start posting articles until mid May. My goal was to reach 500 articles my July and I come pretty close with about 487. I will probably just write the rest of them throughout July when I have the free time.
I also just recently changed my Web site greatly to the one you see now. It may take a few more changes as the months come along so I can have a better layout and implement Google Adsense.
I have been looking for ways to get my site more popular since I started but I have not been very successful. I only use the back links technique which is working some what but I will need to increase my page views. If I can increase my page views I will have more people Adsense earnings. I hope it will be that simple but nothing really is.
I signed up with Xomba and plan on writing mainly for that site this month. I want to get around 250 articles by the end of July to really see some substantial passive earnings come in. Xomba is a bit like eHow but the only thing is they share Adsense earnings with you. You simply sign-up your Adsense publishing number and start writing to make money. I have seen a good number of people earning a lot from Xomba so I will see how successful it is for me.
Advertising my Gpt sites will be another main goal for the July earnings. My hopes are to reach the minimums for my monthly sites and keep earning money from the daily ones. I have been doing fine with Gpt sites so far but no where near the ones who are earning $1,000+ from them.
OK I'll shut up now and Post my Earnings.
Income for June
eHow: $87.24
Bukisa: $8.69
Adsense: $1.77
Bidvertiser: $0
CashCrate: $0.70
TreasureTrooper: $2.95
GetPaidTo: $1.00
ChillinCash: $0.52
DealBarbiePaysFast: $0.34
CashTroops: $0.34
Total: $103.55
Not much but that month I was really focused on eHow. Now I will have more room to work on everything else (hopefully). I was really invested in eHow because I knew it was reliable.
What I Learned
It's important to find a place that you can work in peace. I was really struggling to look for a spot where I can sit down comfortably and do all of my work for the day. I tried going to the library, locked in my room upstairs, the living room downstairs and sometimes sitting on my bed. For me, the best place to do my work with efficiency and speed is at the library. I am not so distracted with all of the things I can do at my house and it is very quite. I think in July I will plan on making more frequent trips to the library and get friendly with the librarian.

Eating before you start working hard is a must for me. There were some days where I would forget to eat enough food and my brain would be gone in less than 2 hours. Eating a good nutrition filled food is great for the mind and body.
Breaks are really a great thing and something I need to take more of. I can get so much more done if I take a short 5 minute break and get back to work than if I force me to get it all done in one sitting.
Goals for This Month
In July I will be focus a lot more on Xomba, Bukisa and GPT sites. I will be trying to diversify my income streams and hopefully have money coming in from all of them. It may be a little bit more challenging for me because I have been use to working on just one site (eHow). But I'm sure I can get it done.
Goals for End of July
These goals are to keep me motivated and so I have something to work for. I may not reach all of them but I can try my hardest to come close.
Xomba: 250 articles
Gpt Sites: Reach the minimums
Bukisa: 500 page views a day
Thanks for Reading
