Make Money On Triond: My First Impression

I signed up with Triond a few weeks ago and wanted to give you some of my first impressions of the site. I have checked out the site and taken a good look at the forum section to see some of the people who are dedicated Triond users. I also checked out some of the articles that are posted from Triond just to see what kind of articles they accept. I have learned a lot from them and wanted to share what I have learned so far.

A great thing about this site is that you can create a very nice profile page. You can add all the sites you write on as well as post your twitter account and blog information. Your profile includes all the articles, videos, pictures and audio you have posted. You also will have the chance to add a resource box which you can add you blog page, affiliate links or anything you would like. The best part about having a resource box at Triond is they have multiple sites that they post on (I'll get to that later on in the article) so that will help increase search engine optimization.

Triond is a bit different but still has the same goal of most online residual income writing websites. Triond does not pay their writers anything upfront for their articles. But they do receive income for how ever many page vies they earn. They also say that the writers will earn a percentage of the income when someone buys a product from the advertisers. You will receive 50% of the advertisers revenue which is a good amount. Also, Triond has just recently (As of November 22, 2009) integrated itself with Google Adsense. Therefore, you will be earning from Google Adsense as well as the other Triond advertising companies. In this way, you will get paid by Google in your adsense account (so you have to wait until you reach the $100 minimum) and by Triond. Triod will pay you through Paypal, check or Western Union. If you do not have a paypal account I suggest you get one just for this site. The minimum to cashout for a check or Western Union is $50.00 while the minimum to cashout for paypal is an easy 0.50 cents.

The way the publish your articles is quite different from other sites like eHow and Xomba. Triond actually has a number of sites that are owned by Triond. They own about 18 different sites and they all have articles published by different Triond writes. They wanted to do is like this to make each site very niche and specific for the users visiting them. Some of the sites that Triond owns are Webupon, Writinghood, HealthMad, Quazen and Gomestic. Webupon covers everything under new technologies and web-based applications, Gomestic is a site about home and garden, HealthMad is about health related topics, etc. So in a way, it helps with search engines because each site is very specific. However, you will still have to promote your articles if you want to increase your earnings.

Triond is starting to become a great site to write and make money online. With the new Google Adsense integration, resource box, profile page niche sites and helpful forum Triond is improving. I saw Triond a few months ago but wasn't interested in writing for the site. But now since I have signed up and read through some of the improvements (referral system and especially Google Adsense) I think writers can start making a decent amount of residual income each month. I will keep you updated when I start to really focus on Triond and write a good amount of articles on the site. Hope you enjoyed the post.

Question: What are your thoughts on Triond?

What Is Google Adsense?

Many people have heard of Google adsense but really have no idea what it is. To be honest, I started using Google adsense before I even had an idea of what it's used for. I wanted to write this article so I can understand what Adsense is all about. I feel that if you understand a certain topic better you can utilize it more. Hopefully you will learn something as well.

Adsense was created by Google in 2003. It is a way to get advertisers and website owners to work together. Advertisers want to make money or promote the products they have any way they can. The Internet is the one place in our history that can get in contact with a huge number of people in the shortest amount of time possible. Google realized this and wanted to find a way to help companies advertise themselves (and earn Google a little extra money along the way). Over 1 billion people use the Internet in some way as of September 30, 2009. If companies can get even a fraction of that many people to visit there websites they can earn a great deal of profit.

Advertisers are willing to pay a great amount of money to get there ads on the web. They would go to Google Adsense and sign-up for an account to start advertising there website, product, online store, etc. This is where the website owners come in. Many people on the Internet make websites for fun or for a certain goal; whether it is to get their voice heard, make money or because they were bored at home and had an Internet connection. For example, if a person wanted to make a blog about acting in movies; they would set up a blog and then begin to write about all the aspects of acting in a film. They could write about getting an agent, acting classes, acting courses, acting books, going to auditions, going to New York or Los Angeles, etc. Then they would here about Google Adsense and sign-up. They would then place adsense ads on their blog to start making money with the blog.

The best thing about that is, because that person made a blog about something very specific (or niche) like acting in movies all of the Adsense ads that will show up will be related to acting. So people who already read his blog come visit for a specific reason, acting in movies. They will then see an ad that is about how to act in movies and would click on it. That would earn him money every time someone clicks on an ad on their acting blog.

Once the website owners earn a certain amount of money for clicks they will receive their money at the end of the month. As of now, the minimum payout you can receive from Google Adsense is $100.00. That may seem like a lot but there are a great number of people earning more then that each month. Some successful Adsense publishers make over $10,000 even $30,000 EACH month. It took them a great amount of smart working skills but they did accomplish the task.

Google adsense is a great place for advertisers and publishers. Advertisers have a way to get the products and services out into the Internet and anyone who has a web page can make money online if they are smart. I say you have to be smart because you can work as hard as you want but if you are not doing it right you may get back pennies or nothing.

Xomba: Experiment Update

As I wrote in my post about How to Increase Google Adsense Earnings on Xomba and Infobarrel I said I would write about more topics on the sites. I have started with writing on Xomba and have written a very broad bank of topics already. I wanted to do this experiment to see if I could really increase my earnings faster and earn more. It's only been a few days but I wanted to give you an update on my progress with my Adsense earnings so far.

I started this experiment about 4 days ago. I wanted to write on more topics and take not of how I do. Well, I am very happy with my earnings increase all ready. I have been earning a lot more clicks and more money online with Adsense already. I know it will just keep increasing as my topics become wider. As long as I do enough research with my articles and write well about the topics I can gain page views and more money online.

I just wanted to let you know that and keep you updated on the progress as my work continues to expand and earn. I hope this will help you make even more money online with what ever you are doing. The key is to not keep your eggs in one basket. Why write about one topic when you can write about several? Increasing your topics (baskets) will increase your page views which can earn you more money online (eggs).

Hope you enjoyed the post.

Increase Google Adsense Earnings on Xomba and Infobarrel

This month has started off fairly well for my adsense earnings. As of today, I have earned money from my adsense account every single day. It is such an amazing thing to know that I can earn money with Google Adsense. I have been a member for a while and would be surprised if I earned anything after a month. I owe it all to my content written on Xomba and Infobarrel. As you can see, as of this post, I do not have any Adsense on my blog. The only earnings I am getting is from Infobarrel and Adsense. I wanted to share with you a few tips I have learned to really increase your Google Adsense earnings. Read on.

First of all, you have to keep writing articles every day to start seeing an improvement in Adsense earnings. Many people fail to do this and never see any substantial revenue coming in. They just believe that they can write 15 or 20 articles and start making 1,000 dollars a month. You need to make sure you are putting the time and effort to writing online if you ever want to see the benefits.

Make sure you are doing some research on topics for your articles. This is something that I learned half way during my writing online. If you really want to make money online writing you will have to write about topics that people are searching for. The best thing about article writing is that you can write about all of the topics as long as you do the research. It is not like writing on a blog where it is very niche. You can write a few articles on all of the popular topics on the web.

Make sure you are linking to your other articles. If you can get a reader to stay on your articles you will be able to make money online. Therefore, maybe at the end of each article you should link them to a related one. This will keep them on the site and reading your articles with your adsense code on it. This is a step that I learned from my eHow articles. I plan on linking related articles to all of my articles on Xomba, eHow, Infobarrel and Bukisa.

Include keywords in your article body and your title. This will make your articles rank higher on search engines and earn you more page views. Usually, more page views means you will earn more adsense revenue. Also, certain keywords written in the body will cause it to become a click ad. Have you ever read an article on eHow or Xomba and seen the double bar line under a certain phrase like "make money online?" That means that the phrase has turned into a pop-up ad. This can earn you even more money with adsense on Infobarrel and Xomba.

I have a few goals that I really want to achieve this month in terms of adsense earnings. I hope I can achieve them all. Hope you enjoyed my post.

My First Impression of Hubpages

I just joined another online writing website called Hubpages. I knew about hubpages for a long time but never gave it the time of day. It just seemed like it wasn't my cup of tea. But now I am a member and I hope to make some solid income with the website. I've read a couple of posts that say hubpages has earned them quite the income.

I will need to join other sites if I wanted to make money online with Hubpages. The site kind of works like Infobarrel and Xomba does where you are paid through Adsense. However, at Hubpages you are not just paid through adsense but through Amazon Associates, Ebay, Kontera and Analytics. That is 5 different ways you can earn revenue from hubpages. I'm sure that Hubpages takes a percentage if your earnings but I just don't know how much they take.

I have been browsing Hubpages for a bit and I really see some potential with it. They really know how to have a good layout and really increase a pages Click Through Rate (CTR). I've read on a few earnings reports people are earning a little over $1,000 a month through hubpages. This may include Adsense, Amazon, Ebay and Kontera earnings. I've already learned a bit about Hubpages but want to share it with you when I write my first few hubs.

I do notice the Hubpages ranks fairly high on the search engines. I searched for a couple topics and a few hubs ranked number 1 on a few of them. Therefore, I know I can earn a lot of visitors which will turn into more revenue for me.

Along with the revenue you earn from Hubpages I also noticed something called a Flagship Hub. These hubs are suppose to be written with extreme high quality and Hubpages will pay you $25 directly into your paypal account. That is an easy (well, not too easy) $25 bucks of upfront payment from Hubpages.

I'm going to try and start writing a few hubs later in the month to see how I do. I already have a lot of stuff I need to finish before I can get to hubpages. I'll keep you updated and try and write about a few tips on maximizing your profits with hubpages once I figure it out. Hope you enjoyed the post.

Monthly Income Report: July 2009

PictureThis is my second installment of my monthly income report. My oh my it has been a busy month. These reports will give me an assessment of where I am at in my online money goals and what I may need to change. It is such a great way to really help me as well as give you some ideas of how to make money online. As I did before, I am going to write about what I did this month, things that I have learned and what I plan on doing next month. These monthly post may probably be the best part about my blogging. I learn so much from it and I hope you take something from it as well. I hope you like it:

What I Did in June

If you visited my blog on weebly you may have noticed that I switched to blogger. I thought this was a better place for me because it offers so much more options, templates and it ranks so much higher in search engine traffic. What sucks is that I may have to change all of my urls from my old site in articles to the new one. As for now, I just posted a link to my old site to the new one here. I think once I plan on getting a domain name I can really start seeing my business grow.

This month I have been focusing on spreading my writing across several sites on the web. I had to take a break with my eHow articles to focus on my other sites. I was really focusing mainly on Xomba and Bukisa. Also, towards the end of the month I joined Infobarrel and started writing articles for them as well. They had a contest at Infobarrel that could earn you 90% adsense revenue if you earned over 30 points. I earned above 50 points but I still never got an email informing me of my prize. I'll keep you updated if I do.

I also started looking into affiliate marketing for another stream of income. I heard it was a great source of passive income for online earners. I have been looking into ClickBank and Commission Junction mostly. I'm not sure which one I want to try though. There are no penalties for using both on my site though. But the main difference I hear with ClickBank and Commission Junction is in the products they sale. ClickBank sales a lot more eBooks and paid Memberships which can earn me a good amount of commission from that. However, I hear they don't give me a banner and just a simple link or "hopper." Commission Junction, on the other hand, sales actual commercial products that must be mailed to customers. I hear they offer a lot more products to promote and because the products are from places like eBay it may be easier to sell. Also, they give you banners which you could post a several places.

But before I get into all of that here is my Earnings Report for July the brackets indicate the increase or decrease in earnings for the last month:

Earnings Report for July

eHow: $115.71 ($28.47 increase)
Bukisa: $6.16 ($2.53 decrease)
Adsense (Xomba and Infobarrel): $22.65 ($20.88 increase)
Bidvertiser: $0 ($0 increase)
CashCrate: $3.81($3.11 increase)
TreasureTrooper: $5.33 ($2.38 increase)
GetPaidTo: $0.25 ($0.75 decrease)
CashLagoon: $0.25

Total: $154.16 ($50.16 increase)

Still not much but I increase my earnings by $50 extra bucks this month.

What I Learned

I finally found a few places where I could work comfortably and efficiently online. Working in a place that has little to no noise helped me concentrate on my goals online. Also, I will no longer try to study with headphones in my ear. I never discovered how much more difficult it is to concentrate with even classical music playing in the background. I was so glad when my headphones broke one day because I would not have discovered this. I work so much faster and better with no noise coming in.

I also learned a bit more about keywords and how important they are in getting on the front page of search engines. You can't have too little or too many keywords in your writing or you will not rank well. Too many and search engines may think you are a spam site while too little will cause your pages to end up on page 20 of search engines.

I also learned that it might be better to focus on less to earn more. This month I was trying to get referrals for so many different sites that it really spread me thin. It would be so much better for my business if I got referrals for maybe 4 sites rather than trying to get them to 12. That is why I may not be advertising a lot of my GPT sites this month. The only ones I may focus on getting referrals from are CashCrate and TreasureTrooper. I may add one other GPT site that pays daily if the other 2 really start earning some income from referrals.

Also, I am completely done with Bidvertiser. I haven't gotten one click from them and the ads that they show on my blog are just terrible. Most of them never match the topics on my blog so I would rather not even have it on my blog.

Goals for This Month (August)

This month I will still keep writing more articles on Xomba and Infobarrel. I was very impress with the amount I earned from Google Adsense for my first month. That is a lot more than what I have been earning from eHow my first month. It kind of makes me wonder what eHow is really doing in terms of paying there writers. It makes me think that they are holding out on a lot of hard working eHow writers.

Also, I am going to only work on CashCrate and TreasureTrooper for surveys this month. It will help me focus on just earning a good amount of income with them and not spread myself thin with GPT sites.

I think I may join an affiliate marketing program this month as well and see how that goes. I may join both ClickBank and Commission Junction as soon as I get a bit more research on them.

I have to head back to school at the end of August so I expect my earnings my fluctuate due to me getting ready to head back. I have a lot of supplies I have to get and just getting ready for school again. I plan on working online as I go to school but it may not be as much as I have been doing since the summer. So instead of doing about 8-10 articles a day I may have to reduce it to 4-5 articles on the weekdays and maybe 8 articles on the weekends. But hey, I may not do any articles on the weekends. It's college I'm going to! Therefore, I'll probably be doing what every clique college kid does on weekends ;).

Hope you enjoyed me Earnings report for July. Hope I can increase my profits by double the amount I earned this month. Fingers crossed!

Make Money Online with Xomba

PictureXomba is a web site where you can make money online. You basically write articles or bookmark web site and you get paid. It is a bit different from the other web sites I write for. You earn money through Google Adsense but you have to have an account with Adsense. A lot of people make some good extra income each month. There are a few that have been a few hundred dollars each month. Xomba is another site that will earn you some solid passive income.

The thing with Xomba is that you have to add your Google Adsense account ID to your Xomba profile. This is how Xomba keeps track of your earnings and how you get paid. In a sense, you are using Xomba to get paid through Google Adsense. Xomba doesn't really pay you, instead, you will get paid through Google Adsense. It is a really good way to make money without a blog.

There are two types of articles you can write on Xomba. They are Xombytes and Xomblurbs. Xombytes are your basic article that you would write. It could be anything from a blog post, a review of a movie, news or story. It can basically be anything you want to write about. The Xomblurb is what is used for social bookmarking. You basically give a brief description of the site and provide a link to the site. It is a great way to promote something.

You can track your earnings with Google Adsense which is great because it is almost on a real time basis. I have been apart of Xomba for a bit now and am making a good amount of income. Which is very surprising since I have been apart of eHow and have just been posting on them for a while.
