Start Using Social Bookmarking to Make Money Online

I said that I would start bookmarking to earn even more money online. Lately, I have been using Xomba's Xomblurbs to really start getting some backlinks and earn more pageviews. In earning more pageviews I have the opportunity to earn more money online. I have been bookmarking a lot of my eHow articles lately. I hope to see a slight increase in earnings as I bookmark more of the articles. I want to have my eHow articles bookmarked on both Xomba and Redgage. This can help me have a backlink, earn more page views, make more money from eHow and make money online from social bookmarking. I will make money either way. It really is a win/win situation.

Honestly, social bookmarking is a great way to increase your earnings on articles. I wish I could have started bookmarking my articles earlier to see my earning grow faster. But, at least I am starting now instead of just talking about it. If you are reading this and are not impressed with your page views you should try and bookmark your content at Xomba or Redgage. You can bookmark anything you want and the best part is you can earn money for that. I was thinking about joining a social bookmarking site like Digg or StumbleUpon but I am online to make money. I have always been looking for ways to make money online. Therefore, if I am going to bookmark something I might as well make money off it.

Redgage: Make Money with Social Bookmarking

Because I am in the business of article writing to make money online I am always looking for a way to earn more traffic to my pages. More traffic means that I will have more visitors, bigger popularity and make even more money online. I posted a few days ago about how StumbleUpon can make you a backlink of your online content and help you get discovered online. However, I wanted to find a way where I can do that and make money online. I found this site called Redgage.

Redgage is basically a social bookmarking site. It is like any other social site like StumbleUpon, Delicious, Reddit or Digg. Many online marketers use these sites to gain a backlink and earn more traffic to there articles, videos, blogs, websites, etc. However, the difference with Redgage is that they will pay you to do it. I thought that was a genius idea to actually have a social bookmarking site where you can earn money. It was only a matter of time until someone made it. This is what Redgage is about. The best part is I don't have to change or do anything accept add my own content to the website. I will earn more views to my pages (earning me money online) as well as earning money just for getting a backlink.

They also hold contests on the site where you can earn even more money on Redgage. The more points you earn from the site the better chance you have of winning. There are a few things that can really influence your earning potential on redgage. Some of the factors include the quality of the content that you post on the website, how active the user is on Redgage and their level of influence. That is a bit secretive but you get an idea of how your earnings could increase. The more active and the more good posts you add the more money you can earn.
 

The way you get paid by Redgage, as of now, is through a Visa Check Card. You will receive your card in the mail and you need to keep it as that is the way you will get your earnings. I guess that is fine for some people but I would much rather just receive a PayPal account or even wait a few days for a check on the mail. Hopefully Redgage will change this in the future as this (at least for me) is a major turn-off for some online money makers.

As of right now, I have some faith in Redgage. The site is a bit hard to navigate through but I think it will greatly improve over time. I'll let you know how I do with Redgage in terms of earnings and increase my pageviews. Hope you enjoyed the post.

Increase Website Traffic with Stumbleupon

I have been looking for ways to increase traffic to my blog for a bit. I have read a lot of information on social bookmarking and just wanted to share some of what I have learned. I know about submitting to the search engines but I was looking for even more ways to increase traffic. My blog is still fairly new as of this post so I still have to keep producing more content for my blog. But I found this site called Stumbleupon which can really help increase website traffic. The great thing about Stumble Upon is that it gives your site backlinks which is great for search engines.

StumbleUpon is a free site to sign-up which is great. You have to download a tool which will be connected to your web browser. After you install the toolbar you can use it to surf or 'stumble' on websites. You can now use this program to stumble your blog or website. All you have to do is click a button and they will put it in there social bookmark.

You can stumble your entire url which will bring visitors to your homepage. Or you can stumble single blog entries to the site. I thought this would really be a great idea to try out. I would have backlinks to the site which can help my search engine optimization and it's free.


You have to fill out a short description of the site and place it in a category. You will then have to add up to five tags or keywords so people searching on stumble may find it. You can also select the language and if it is adult content among other things.

If your site gets a lot of thumbs up it will be shown more often when people use the stumble bar. It really is a great way to promote your site and make more money online. If you have good content to stumbleupon and you get good ratings you can increase your traffic a ton. I plan on using the social bookmarking tactic in the future to make money online with my blog.
